Facade design of Ali Ibn Abitaleb Mosque
Scope of work :

Description of services performed:
Project Manager: Ramin Raygan

The above project was handed over to Naghsh Sharestan Consulting Engineers by Tehran Municipality, District 7, which was in the implementation stage and the end of the hardening stage. It is clear that designing the facade of a project whose volume has been built is far more difficult than the design that is left to the consultant from the beginning. However, the consulting engineers of Naghsh Sharestan did not attempt to accurately understand the current situation and map the volumes built, and in the next stage, designing the facade of Ali Ibn Abitaleb Mosque was on the agenda.

The proposed facade of Naghsh Sharestan consulting engineers was presented from a combination of stone, refractory facade bricks, traditional tiles, etc. More importantly, despite the employer's emphasis on building a minaret, no location was considered in this regard during the construction phase. Therefore, Naghsh Sharestan consulting engineers designed a light minaret using composite aluminum. The mentioned minarets were designed and approved by the esteemed employer by considering the supports from the roof in the form of a hollow and a cover of composite aluminum and with a weight that is acceptable for the roof.
